Friends, please lift up another family of mine. Lili's human just reached out to me. She is very sick, and they have to let her go today. Lili's humans are heartbroken, as am I.
I am so grateful these humans allow me the honor of loving on these furry friends.
Lili is leaving behind a large family of humans, including many kid humans. And like April, Lili is leaving behind a furry sibling.
I was getting ready to spend this weekend with Ms. Lili (and Mo) and the following week with Ms. April (and Sophie). My heart hurts knowing the homes will be a little less brighter without their presence. Lili, I love you, and I will miss you.

April's human called me last night with very sad news. This sweet, loving, talkative, and beautiful girl died suddenly.
Losing our furry friends hurts as much as losing our family members, because these furry friends are our family. Their love, support, companionship, and devotion is unconditional. When they leave us, they leave a hole in our heart.
Thank you for letting me love on you, April. It truly was an honor and a privilege to spend time with you. I love you, and I will miss you.

Layla is my elusive walking buddy, because we start our walks before the sun rises, and pictures are harder to capture during our time together. This morning, we had a special guest join us. Charlie has a swim meet this morning, so he came with me, and we headed to the meet right after the walk.
This was the first time Charlie and Layla met, and it was love at first sight. Of course.

Rain or shine. The pups and I walk rain or shine. Though Luey and I were wet after our walk in the rain, the rain was gone when it came time to walk Ty and Pickles. (Henri settled for playtime in the backyard.)
